Above & Beyond Fitness — personal training that comes to you
Ellen DeVore brings practical personal training to older adults, people returning to exercise, and couples in Cave Creek, Scottsdale and Northeast Phoenix. Each session is adapted to your goals, abilities, and how you feel that day. Build strength and confidence for everyday life, travel and hobbies with in-home or live virtual coaching. NASM certified since 2010, with experience coaching clients ages 8–92.
Ways to train
- In-home 1:1 — $90/hour, packages down to $80/hour. Your home, your pace. Ellen brings the equipment and adapts each session to how you are feeling that day. All you need is enough clear floor space to move.
- Semi-private — bring a partner, spouse or friend. Train together and pay three-quarters of the normal rate each, while still receiving programming that fits each person individually.
- Virtual — $90/hour, same package pricing, available anywhere by request. A live video session coached in real time, not a recording, from a living room, a hotel room or an out-of-state home, using whatever equipment you have or none at all.
- Free express class — 30-minute virtual full-body workout, Fridays 10:00 a.m. Arizona time (Central time: 11:00 a.m. CST / 12:00 p.m. CDT). Every movement is demonstrated with easier and harder options. No fancy equipment required.
Starting is simple
Tell Ellen what you would like to improve, talk it through in a relaxed 20-minute consultation, choose the format that fits your life, and begin with a session built around you. A first session is about meeting you where you are, not testing you.
Is this a fit?
Above & Beyond welcomes older adults, people returning to exercise, and couples with different fitness levels. Sessions support your strength, mobility and exercise goals, with coaching adapted to your abilities. Personal training works alongside — not instead of — medical or physical-therapy care, so bring any guidance your doctor or physical therapist has given you.
